The ideal candidate will demonstrate an uncompromising commitment to academic excellence and academic judgment; a deep commitment to diversity in all its forms; an ability to articulate persuasively a compelling vision for the future of undergraduate engineering education at the College; a demonstrated track record of interdisciplinary thinking; strategic, visionary, and entrepreneurial leadership; an ability to champion the benefits of a combined engineering and liberal arts education; a passion for serving at a student-focused and largely undergraduate institution; and eloquent and enthusiastic outreach and communication.
