Academic Assistant, Mechanical Engineering Lewisburg, PA
The Academic Assistant will provide essential support to faculty in the Mechanical Engineering department and is responsible for broad oversight in administering the department including clerical, student support and faculty coordination duties including events and special projects. This position may supervise student workers and perform duties of a sensitive and confidential nature. The Academic Assistant reports to the faculty Department Chair and works under the coordination of the Lead Academic Assistant. This is a full-time, 12-month, non-exempt, benefits eligible position.
Programmer Analyst Lewisburg, PA
Bucknell University seeks to hire a Programmer Analyst who, working collaboratively with fellow members of Library and IT (L&IT) and functional area leads, will support configuration and integration of vendor-delivered solutions and, when needed, design and develop creative custom solutions for the University's community of enterprise system users. The primary goals of this position are to enable end users to effectively leverage the strategic Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications, including Ellucian Banner, Slate, Workday, and Blackbaud, to fulfill their work responsibilities. To that end, this individual will collaborate to ensure best use of delivered vendor solutions, develop custom applications of broad campus impact, maintain interfaces between applications, including externally hosted and SaaS applications, and assist in the analysis and implementation of new initiatives. As an Enterprise Systems (ES) team member, this position may cross-train and support multiple areas of Bucknell’s ERP and CRM landscape however, the primary focus will be support of the Student functional area including auxiliary systems needing integration with Student data. This is a full-time, 12 month, exempt, benefits eligible position.
Network Administrator Lewisburg, PA
Bucknell University seeks to hire a Network Administrator who will identify, develop, design, implement, and maintain solutions to the current and anticipated networking needs of the University. The primary focus of this position is on providing reliable, robust network services to the Bucknell campus community, with a particular emphasis on wireless networking. The Network Administrator reports to the Assistant Director, Network and Telephony, and works collaboratively and willingly with members of the Network and Telephony workgroup, Systems Integration, Technology Support, Director of Technology Architecture and Operations, the CISO, and other staff in Library and Information Technology to offer or take advantage of expertise, investigate opportunities for further integration, improve existing services, or offer new services. This is a full-time, 12 month, exempt, benefits eligible position.
Utilities Technician - Plumber Lewisburg, PA
The Utilities Technician - Plumber will be responsible for installation, repair/maintenance, inspection and modification of mechanical plumbing equipment and fixtures for water, gas, oil, steam, sewage, fire sprinkler/prevention, and hydronic systems. This is a full-time, 12 month, non-exempt, benefits eligible position that is normally scheduled to work first shift during the weekday, but may require occasional shift work. The immediate supervisor for this position is the Plumbing Supervisor.
